Taking on the World,One Step at a Time
Our story started on the road in a renovated 1976 Airstream Overlander. We spent ten months turning that old aluminum shell into a tiny home and then packed up our kids and traveled full time. Those months shaped us. They showed us how much our kids learn when they are out in the world and how much stronger our family becomes when life slows down and we are exploring side by side.
Now we are in a different season. We are living in a house again. Our kids are in a more traditional routine. And we find ourselves missing the curiosity and connection that came so naturally on the road.
This blog is about what comes next. It is about figuring out how to take the heart of worldschooling and weave it into real life. It is about exploring new places together, whether that means a trip across the ocean or a day spent learning in our own backyard. It is about the questions, the planning, the setbacks, the excitement, and the gradual shift from traditional school toward a life where the world itself becomes part of our children’s education.
We are not experts. We are a family learning as we go, sharing the honest middle of the journey, and inviting others to walk with us as we move toward worldschooling one step at a time.
