About Our Family and Our Journey
Welcome to this little corner of the internet where we share our real-life story of learning, traveling, growing, and figuring things out one step at a time. We are a family that once packed everything into a renovated Airstream and hit the road, and now we are learning how to blend that same spirit of adventure with the rhythm of living in a house again. This space is where we tell that story, honestly and openly, as we explore a new chapter centered on worldschooling and intentional family life.

Our Story
We are a young and growing family who doesn’t want to wait until retirement to travel. Last year we quit our jobs, started our own business, and bought a vintage Airstream to renovate! We love opening our minds and hearts to new people, experiences, and places.

Jonathan
Jonathan is from a small town in Colorado and is the best problem solver I know. He built a tear drop trailer on his own with no plans. He has been the brains of the build and the muscles too. He is a loving husband and the best father/jungle gym for our daughter. He is not just a dreamer, but a doer. None of this would be possible without him.
Our Story So Far
Our journey began with a dream that felt a little wild but too exciting to ignore. We found a 1976 Airstream Overlander and spent ten months renovating it into a tiny home that could carry us across the country. We learned how to work together, how to simplify, and how to create a home that held our family in a brand new way.
When we finally pulled out onto the road, everything changed. Traveling full time taught us things we did not expect. Our kids learned through real experiences instead of textbooks. We slowed down and noticed the world around us. We saw how much happier and more connected we felt when we lived with intention instead of rushing from one activity to the next. That season shaped our family in a way we will always be grateful for.
Tosha
Tosha was born and raised in Utah and later in life actually ended up working at the hospital she was born in as a Surgical Tech. She is the smartest and most talented girl I know, whenever she sets her mind to something she figures it out and never backs down. She is the voice of our Instagram, Facebook, and Blog and is the most talented content creator. She is the BEST wife to me and the most AMAZING mother and role model to our daugther. Without her, I would have never been brave enough to take the leap into this new lifestyle.
From Road Life to Worldschooling
Eventually, we returned to living in a house. We stepped back into the routines of traditional school and the familiar rhythm of daily life. And while there was comfort in that stability, something inside us felt different. We missed the curiosity that travel sparked in our kids. We missed the way learning happened naturally in places we had never been. We missed the sense of connection that came from exploring the world together.
That is when worldschooling entered our lives. We began asking ourselves what it would look like to bring the heart of travel and the freedom of on the road learning into our everyday life at home. We wanted our kids to learn from the world, not just from a classroom. We wanted flexibility, adventure, and opportunities to grow together as a family.
We are not experts. We are simply a family learning how to transition from traditional education into a worldschooling mindset, and we are sharing the process here because so many parents are curious about doing the same.
Addie
Addie is a natural born explorer. She has been moving on her own since 4 months old and hasn’t stopped. She is happiest when she is free to explore anything she can get to. She has the biggest heart and the happiest smile that she shares generously. She has a big love of animals, but especially dogs. Her first word after “mom” and “dad” was “woof”.
Every day she says, "go go" and loves to go out to explore.
She definitely makes the world a happier and better place with her in it.
What Worldschooling Means to Us
Worldschooling looks different for every family, and we are still shaping our own version of it. For us, worldschooling means choosing experiences that spark curiosity, saying yes to new cultures, and allowing learning to happen naturally through life. It means leaning into travel when we can and finding wonder right here at home when we cannot.
It is not about being perfect or fearless. It is about being intentional. It is about raising kids who are flexible, observant, and confident in unfamiliar places. It is about teaching them how to explore the world with open eyes and an open heart.
This blog is where we share the wins and the struggles. The planning and the uncertainty. The goals and the honest middle of the journey.
Finnick
Our puppy dog Finnick was an angel that came into our lives at a difficult and very needed time. He is a King Charles Cavalier Spaniel, and yes, he is named after Finnick Odair from the Hunger Games series. But turns out he is also pretty finicky. He is wary of strangers at first but once he knows you, he will never stop loving you. He is cuddly when you need cuddles and playful when you want to play. He has been our hiking buddy since he was just a puppy. He loves life on the road.
